Central States Tower Completes Agreement with American Tower Corporation

Central States Tower (CST) announced that it completed an entity sale, including the transfer of approximately 170  towers, for an undisclosed amount on December 30th, 2010, with American Tower Corporation (NYSE: AMT)

The transaction was brokered by Media Venture Partners LLC.   Company CEO Brian Meier, described the transaction as "being relatively easy.  For a company as large as American Tower, we were very pleased with the ease of the process.  From start to finish, we were able to wrap things up in just over 30 days which is remarkable considering the size and scale of the transaction and the parties involved". 

CST will continue operations as normal, maintaining those towers not included in the transaction, as well as developing a healthy pipeline of new stategically located tower sites.

CST maintains excellent carrier relationships with all of the National Wireless Carriers as well as the Regional and Local Carriers and will continue to develop sites under existing agreements or through strategic location.
